Look Out For The Next 1 is a non-profit 501c3 corporation dedicated to help send male and female high school student athletes in local communities throughout New Jersey, to college by providing student athletes with assistance in both their athletic and personal development. We strive to provide monetary assistance to further student athletes education by awarding deserving students athletes college scholarships.

 

 

Our Mission :

• Provide a strong foundation for the student athletes in the high schools of our local and surrounding communities.

• Provide youth guidance and support that will allow them to learn, grow, and develop their skills to create their own path in life.

• Provide student athletes with assistance in both their academic, athletic, and personal development, as well as assistance in furthering their own education.

• Provide insight, knowledge, and experience in an effort to create a path that student athletes can follow to help get them to college and where they want to be in life.

 

 

The obstacles and peer pressure that the youth in our local and surrounding communities face throughout high school, make the road to college difficult. These obstacles consist of SAT scores, grades, funding for college tuition, and decision making. All of these obstacles make the journey difficult to stay on track to get a college education. Playing sports collegiately or professionally is definitely not a given and if achieved it doesn’t last forever. This is one of the many reasons why it is important for athletes to have a college degree. Millions of boys and girls grow up dreaming of playing sports in college and beyond. Nearly 8 million students currently participating in high school athletics in the United States, only 480,000 of them will compete at NCAA schools, only 18,684 student athletes play college basketball with 1.1 percent making it to the NBA. Only 73,660 student athletes play college football with 1.5 percent making it to the NFL. These numbers are quite daunting. Having a college degree is crucial with the job market becoming more competitive than it’s ever been, and obtaining a college degree is the first essential step that is needed to have competitive advantage.

 

This corporation strives to provide student athletes with the skills, support, and mentorship needed to make good decisions, excel academically and athletically, and create a blueprint that they can follow to succeed in life. I am reaching out to well-established companies and donors, like yourself, that will work with the organization to help uplift, encourage, and keep the student athletes in our community on the right path to help send them to college and pursue their academic and athletic goals. Our goal is to impact the lives of these student athletes and inspire them to follow the same module we are creating, which is to come back and help out the next guy and girl in local communities.
